Sidebar: More suggested concept lists in Configure Visualization tab
The Configure visualization tab is how you select which concepts to see in your main panel. Previously, Daylight would suggest concepts based on which feature you’re in, but clients have requested the ability to do more advanced analyses. With this release, you will be able to select any of the suggested concept lists from any feature. For example, you can see what the top Volume concepts look like in Sentiment. More detailed information on this new feature can be found in this help center article.
White space causes unexpected error when inviting new users
Previously, if there was white space preceding or following the email address entered into the input box when inviting new users, an unexpected error was encountered. This can happen when copying and pasting the email address. We have addressed this issue by automatically removing white space surrounding the entered email address.

Copy Project API endpoint now supports copying into an existing Project.
Copy Project API endpoint now supports copying into an existing Project
The Copy Project endpoint, POST /api/v5/projects/<project_id>/copy/, can now be used to copy documents from one Project into another existing Project. Previously, this endpoint always created a new Project with the selected subset of documents. You can now specify a destination Project into which the selected documents will be copied. You can find the details in our API documentation here.

Bug Fix: Project description is no longer removed when copying a Project
Projects in Daylight have an optional description field. Previously, when a Project was copied, the description that is in the source project was not carried over into the destination project. Now, the description is retained when a project is copied with an option to edit the description during the copy process.

Deprecations
Document-level Sentiment support removed
Side Panel: “Link to current view” section removed from Export tab
Fixes
Drivers over time default behavior updated
Document-level Sentiment support removed
The minimum supported science version has been updated from 2.0 to 2.2. This means that any project that is currently built with a science version older than 2.2 will need to be rebuilt before it can be opened. This change removes support for Document-level Sentiment in favor of the more advanced Concept-level Sentiment capabilities which were introduced with science version 2.2. For information on Concept-level Sentiment, refer to the July 25, 2020 section of these release notes. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact us at support@luminoso.com.
Side Panel: “Link to current view” section removed from Export tab
The “Link to current view” section on the Export tab has been removed in favor of the Shared View feature which was released in June of 2021. As we continue to add more configurability to the visualizations, we have taken the approach of saving those configurations in Shared Views, as opposed to in the url. For more information on the Shared Views features, refer to the June 5, 2021 section of these release notes. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact us at support@luminoso.com.
Drivers over time default behavior updated
Previously, when the “compare period over period” feature in Drivers was enabled by selecting a “date field to compare periods”, the visualization defaulted to selecting the entire date field range for the top graph, which resulted in the bottom graph having no data to display. With this release, the default behavior has been changed so that the date range will be divided in half with the most recent half being displayed on the top graph and the earlier half being displayed on the bottom graph. This change will provide for a more useful starting point. For more information on the Drivers feature, refer to this section of our documentation.
